District Cooling & Gas Services
Registration & Activation
To activate the service, Customers should follow our application procedure through the customer portal or by sending the completed forms to info@southenergy.ae This procedure may change over time.
Registration
In order to register for district cooling service / gas service , customers should provide the following documents and complete the registration form
For Unit Owners
Individual
- Title deed/Initial contract of sale/Oqood certificate
- Passport copy + Residence visa
- Emirates ID (both sides)
- Power of attorney POA (if required)
Company
- Title deed or sales and purchase agreement
- Trade license (or certificate of incorporation for
overseas companies) - Passport copy OR Emirates ID of the authorized signatory person with an authorization letter or POA
For Tenants or End Users
Individual
- Ejari Copy
- Passport copy + Residence visa
- Emirates ID (both sides)
- Power of attorney POA (if required)
Company
- Tenancy contract/Ejari
- Trade license
- Passport copy OR Emirates ID of the authorized signatory person with an authorization letter or POA
Activation
Once the registration is completed , our team will prepare the district cooling / gas supply agreement .Customers should sign the agreement and pay the security deposit before they can request for activation and receive the chilled water / gas supply. The chilled water / gas supply agreements are provided here for reference.

De-Activation
In the case where Customers need to deactivate the chilled water / gas service supply , they should fill the disconnection request form and follow the below procedure to clear all dues and receive their refund . The completed form needs to submitted on the portal or by email to info@southenergy.ae
New Buildings NOCs - District Cooling
All new buildings are required to obtain District Cooling NOCs during design and construction. NOC requests that are related the building design and construction are all routed through Dubai South Development Control Department. For more details, you may contact: imran.mushtaq@dacc.ae
South Energy is providing guidelines to developers and contractors for district cooling. Developers, consultants or contractors undertaking the design and construction of the system are responsible to comply with the guidelines and obtain the relevant approvals and NOCs.
